The challlenges of concert photography reside mainly in finding your place during a live show. Capturing the strongest images, without getting in the way of the artists and their audience.
This is is also the most exciting part to me, coming from a documentary film background. It requires an active listening to understand what is happening on stage, where the tensions are, and capture that emotion using only available light (no flash), and accepting the challenges of extreme low-light situations.
